Chocolate Chip Granola Bars
This recipe is another quick and easy recipe to put together for busy school days. I make up a couple of batches of these a week, and interchange whatever cereal I have on hand.
Melt in a sauce pan 1 cup peanut butter and ½ cup honey until well blended.
Pour melted peanut butter mixture over 2 cups quick oats. Or 1 cup oats and 1 cup cereal of choice. Mix in ½ cup almonds, or peanuts, and ½ cup mini chocolate chips.
Mix all ingredients well and then pour into an 11X13 pan lined in buttered tinfoil. Press firmly down and put in refrigerator at least 5 hours to set. Cut and enjoy!!
