Cocoa and Coconut Beeswax Lip Balm – Luckey Bee Rescue and Relocation (Gilbert,AZ)
Cocoa and Coconut Lip Balm
I usually use the same lip balm recipe, and might change out the oil for a little variety. This time I decided to switch shea butter with cocoa butter, and change out the oil with coconut oil. This balm smells so amazing, there is no need for essential oils in my opinion. It smells great, and I have used it on my cuticles and elbows as well, because I absolutely LOVE the smell.
You will need:
1 ounce cocoa butter
1 ounce coconut oil
½ ounce beeswax
tins to keep the lip balm in
Melt all 3 ingredients over a double boiler. Once the ingredients are all melted, whisk together to make sure they are well combined. Pour liquid into tins, and allow to cool and solidify.
Enjoy!!
