Honey Salad Dressing – Cooking with Honey
I am not sure how long I have been making this salad, or where I even came across it originally, but, I love the versatility of it. I can change it around with whatever ingredients I have available at that time. Using honey to make the dressing is super easy and so delicious! Once you start making dressing, you may find you can’t go back to bottled. Enjoy!!
1 or 2 packages greens. I have used spinach, romaine, mixed, whatever is on hand
½ to ¾ cup dried Craisins
½ cup toasted pecans or walnuts
½ cup or to your liking feta cheese or goat cheese.
Toss together
Dressing
Put all ingredients in a mason jar with a lid
¼ cup olive oil
pinch salt/ pinch pepper
2 to 3 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 to 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
2 Tablespoons honey
