Honey Butter – Cooking with Honey
Honey Butter
One of my favorite things about holiday dinners is homemade dinner rolls. I am always in charge of the rolls for our family gathering. One thing that I have made to go with it for years is honey butter. It is so easy to whip up in my Kitchenaide, and it tops the rolls off just right. It only takes a few ingredients, and is so delicious!!
You will need:
½ cup softened butter
½ cup honey
¼ to ½ cup powdered sugar (optional, this is more for texture)
½ to 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (also optional)
Beat butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy, approximately 2 -3 minutes.
Add honey and cinnamon, and beat an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
Put the butter in a pretty bowl and serve with your favorite bread or rolls.
