Honey for your skin – Luckey Bee
Using Honey for your skin
by Kerry
Why use Organic Honey on your skin?
Honey binds moisture into the skin. It is full of antioxidants, moisturizing, and helpful for sun damage.
It absorbs impurities and dirt from the skin, so it’s also great for acne.
Oatmeal:
Oatmeal is very gentle on the skin, a natural exfoliator, and relieves dryness
Organic Yogurt;
Yogurt hydrates the skin, and can improve the skin tone. It contains enzymes and lactic acid which promotes healthy skin, smoothes fine lines, and tightens pores.
Strawberries:
Strawberries contain Vitamin C which tighten and brighten the skin. They are also a source of Alpha Hydroxy Acid, a natural exfoliator.
Lemons: Use lemons and honey as a facial, to moisturize the skin, tone and fade brown spots.
Add moisturizing essential oils such as Lavender or Geranium to the honey oatmeal facial. Also a few drops of olive oil, almond oil, or grape seed oil
Tip: Make sure ingredients are free of preservatives, which can add impurities or bacteria to the skin.
I make it fresh every time to avoid spoilage of ingredients
